Welcome to Yulong's Webpage
I am an assistant professor at the School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I am also an affiliated faculty at the Data Science Initiative (DSI) in the College of Science and Engineering.
Before that I was an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2020 to August 2023. I was a Phillip Griffiths Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Duke University from August 2017 to July 2020. My mentors at Duke are Prof. Jonathan Mattingly and Prof. Jianfeng Lu. Prior to that, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Warwick under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Stuart and Prof. Hendrik Weber.
